Background
I have been running a weekly multi-table, No Limit Texas Holdem home poker tournament for about 15 years. The games are on Saturdays at 6 pm and run three times a month on average. I'm always looking to grow the player list; if you're interested, read on!
The Game
The game is a low-stakes multi-table tournament.
- The buyin is currently set at $30, with a $5 bounty
- No rebuys or add-ons
- 20 minute blind levels, starting at 50/100
- 20,000 chip starting stack
- TDA Rules apply
- No house fee or rake; 100% payout
- Payouts vary based on the number of players, posted at the start of play
The Room
- The room comfortably accommodates up to 18 players on two tables
- Tournament Director software to manage the game
- Game information is displayed on three wall monitors
- Custom-built poker tables with padded raised rails
- Comfortable, padded chairs
- Semi-custom clay chips and large denomination placards
- High-quality Kem and Copag plastic playing cards
- Ample parking
- I provide snacks, soft drinks, and water... BYOB
The Players
- 60/40 split men/women
- Age range 20-70
- All solid players that know the rules
- Good mix of skill levels
